![]() It would be interesting to see how a third CAD program imports this STEP file. What both imports do have in common is DipTrace. I can't say if the anomalies I'm seeing are the fault of Geomagic Design's STEP file importer or DipTrace's STEP file exporter, but this is a different result from the one that you're observing using IronCAD. Dont forget to mirror the top solder mask laye. The top and bottom surfaces/faces otherwise look normal. If you are making your PCBs at home you would want to be able to print the solder mask layers using DipTrace. Examining the errors on the top side ("Board:Face") shows a total of 9 anomalies, which seems to coincide with what appear to be 9 incomplete holes in the PCB (see orange arrows in the second screenshot). Click Export All and save all the layers. ![]() I don't know if those causes apply here, but that's all I could find. To export Gerber file from Diptrace, just select File-> Export -> Gerber. The first screenshot shows the "Import File Analysis and Reporting" window and Geomagic Design's definition of common causes as they pertain to editing within the program. After that, put them in a ZIP and then upload it to the Nyákfutárs order site. Design Rule Check with in-depth detailing, Net Connectivity verification. In the 'Export N/C Drill' window click on 'Auto' and then 'Export All'. Check the extensions of every generated file according to the table below. The board can be previewed in 3D and exported for mechanical CAD modeling. In the new window leave everything at default then click on 'Export All'. ![]() So what might cause this so that I can create boards that export properly?."Importing your STEP file into Geomagic Design generated a failure report showing errors on the top and bottom surfaces. Gerber File Export Guides Gerber export from DipTrace Gerber export from DipTrace. Jkellar wrote:".Board edge is present, holes are present but the top and bottom faces of the board are just missing.
